She was predeceased by: her husband Allan; her daughter Nancy Comartin (Jim); her parents, Dorothy Hilton and Ted Hilton; and her brother Bruce.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynda Forbes (Jim), Karen Clarke (Tom) and Carolyn Jobbitt (Jim); her grandchildren, Sarah McDowell (Rylan), Matthew Comartin (Alicia McGovarin), Jessica Jobbitt (Cameron Palmer), Allan Clarke, Michelle Jobbitt (Cyle Peel) and Brad Clarke; her great grandchildren, Reean McDowell and Brady Palmer; and her sisters, Jean Petterson, Ruth Anderson (Ron) and Eleanor Lacey. She is also survived by her family, her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J1C5). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
