She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Martin; and her son Gregory Newton (Ruth). She is survived by: her children, David Newton (Catherine), Kathy Rullo (Guerino) and Gerald Newton; and her siblings, Elaine McIlmoyle, Wayne Reynolds (Leah) and Paul Reynolds (Carol). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many extended family.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J1C5). A burial was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at the Little Lake Cemetery (915 Haggart St, Peterborough, ON K9J 2Y1).
