She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor Pether and Fred Pether; and her brother Christopher Pether (Christina). She is survived by: her husband Ernest Charles Dalrymple-Alford; her children, Susan Dalrymple-Fraser (John) and Jonathan Dalrymple-Alford; her friend Jan Howard; her great grandchildren, Jeremy, Jaylynn (Steven), Alex, Nic, Trevor, Cea, Peter, Matt, Kate, Gin and Elora; her child Jonno Heather; her grandchildren, Tom (Becky) and Ruth; her great grandchildren, Ollie, Ruby and Matilda; and also Noah.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ashburnham Funeral Home (840 Armour Rd, Peterborough, ON K9H2A2). There, she built a second family with the staff who looked after her day in and day out, through all the ups and downs, including the covid pandemic and lockdowns.
