He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Hazel; his daughters, Linda McGhee (Bob) and Susan Buchanan (Greg); his grandchildren, Philip McGhee (Tracey), Julie McGhee, Kate Buchanan and Steve Buchanan (Sarah); and his great grandchildren, Katara, Ares, Orion, William, Livingston McGhee, Ian and Eric Buchanan.
