He was predeceased by: his parents, Major Graeme Falkner and Elizabeth Mulholland; and his son Graeme. He is survived by: his wife Gertrud; his children, Stephanie, Jim, Sandra (Mark) and Greg (Leanne); his grandchildren, David, Benjamin, Austin, Renee, Jack and Riley; his brother Ian; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth, Adolf and Regina.
