He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Russelle and Loretta Russelle; and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his siblings, Ron (Hank), Gail Emery (Al), Nancy Sullivan (late Dan), Jerry (Val), Chuck (Deb), Jane Killen (Gerard), Susan Field (Glen), Joe, Teresa Foley (Pat) and Lisa Lytle (Mike). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5).
In memory of Peter, and in lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Mental Health or a charity of choice would be appreciated by his family.
