He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Brown and Bertha Harden; and his siblings, Mary Michaud (Joe), Bertha Hodowan (Paul), Irene Terryberry (John), Betty Morris (John), Walter Brown and Joseph Brown (Sarah).

He is survived by: his wife Rev. Ruth E. Brown; his daughters, Esther V. Barnai (Lawrence) and Karen Ruth A. Brown; his grandchildren, Jennifer Shewan (Nathan), Jason, Michael DeLuca and Jacey Brown; his great grandchild Rhyder Alton-Sim; his brother Gary Brown; and his sister-in-law Judy Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
