He is survived by: his parents, Ralph Shier and Dianne Shier (late Allan Shier); his siblings, Robert (Geri Holychuk) and Candy Shier; his nieces and nephews, Leandra, Alex, Dean, Bailey and Stephanie; and his uncle Brian Parkes. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
