He was predeceased by: his siblings, John, Agnes (Jack), Rita (Eddie), Marie (Walter), Theresa (Cleve), Arnold (Ruby), Shirley (Gerry) and Joan; and his parents, John and Mae.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mitchell; his children, John (Joanne), Arn (Jen Young) and Carolyn Maraghi (Elias); his stepdaughters, Sherry Tripp (Keith) and Janice Lavalley (Jeff); his grandchildren, Lindsay, Alexander, Veronica and Michael; his stepgrandchildren, Ryan, Dan, Joseph and Jadyn; his great grandchildren, Isabella, William, Christopher and Scarlett; his stepgreat-grandchildren, MacKinley, Colton, Hudson and Greyson; and his siblings, Patsy Dowson (late Harry), Jean Sexsmith (late Jim) and Helen Brasier (George). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
