She was predeceased by: her spouse Harry Lambert; her parents, Charles Nelson and Vera Nelson; and her brother Robert Nelson (Bob). She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Watkins (Ron) and Elizabeth Gibb (John); her grandchildren, Charles Watkins (Erica), Mark Shaughnessy (Wendy), Amy Watkins and Scott Shaughnessy; her great grandchildren, Olivia Watkins, Madison Shaughnessy and Ian Watkins; and her sister Agnes Walton.

In lieu of flowers, and in memory of Rheta, donations to Habitat for Humanity – Peterborough & Kawartha Region or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by her family.
