Richard Southern Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Southern (Peterborough, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Richard departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Richard leaves behind.

He is survived by: his wife Donna; his grandchildren, Reid, Renee, Jules and Gabriel; his brother Byron; his sisters-in-law, Bonnie, Karen and Cathy; and his friend Marcy Lamses.

The family also would be grateful for any donations made to The Alzheimer Society of Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland and Haliburton.
