He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Young and Edna Young; and his brother Karl of Belleville. He is survived by: his sister Sally-Anne Knight of Belleville; his wife Catherine; his children, Robert Young of Ottawa and Joanne Haacke (Dave) of Peterborough; his grandchildren, Alyssa (Kevin), Erin, Ryan, Holly, Shannon and Lindsay; his great grandchildren, Weston, Wylder and Maxine; and his nieces and nephews, Judy, Crystalyn, Sally-Jo, Andrew and Ellen.
