Rita Ellen Hogan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Ellen Hogan (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on June 24, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gerard Joseph Hogan; her daughter-in-law Joanne Hogan (Doris); her grandson Mark Hogan; her parents, Frank and Mary (Burns); and her siblings, Tom (Agnes), Kay Johnston (John), Marie Swift (Frank), Helen Heffernan, Teresa Denham (Jim), Lucille McCarthy (Jack) and Gerard Heffernan.

She is survived by: her sons, Gerry (Vanessa), Ray, Carl, Paul and Bernard (Wanda); her grandchildren, Sarah, Christine, Ryan, Brandon, Elise, Jacob, Hannah, Neil and Jared; her great grandchildren, Shauna, Nathaniel and Daisy; her sister Rose Hickson; and her sister-in-law Anne Heffernan.

They are also asking that in lieu of flowers, that you might consider donating to the Alzheimer's Society.
