It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert David Cheel (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on July 3, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Cheel and Florence Rose; and his siblings, Harvey, Tom, George "Bud", Dorothy Caravaggie, Lena James, Pansy and Margaret Cheel.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Susan Devlin (Jean Pierre), Janet Scott (late Kenneth), Stephen (Laura) and Martha Vandam (Harry); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Devlin, Michael Devlin (Erin), Jenelle Klaassen (Chris), Nicole Holland (Darcy), Laura Scott (Curtis), Dayna Rawlings (Phil), Bobby Cheel (Beth), Mark Vandam, Erin McGregor (Andrew), Stephen Vandam (Samantha) and Kate Vandam. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and extended family.
