He was predeceased by: his significant other Mary Elizabeth; his parents, William and Clara (Morgan); his brother-in-law Harold McDougall (Marion); and his close friend Lorna Crilly.
He is survived by: his children, Lori, Robert Jr., Martin (Karen), Russell (Carol), Christopher (Amanda), Jason (Carol), Alana Adams (late Dave), Brent (Tammy) and Tyler (Derek); his grandchildren, Justin Sr., Nicole, Nicholas, Ashley, Madeline, Gregory, Tara, Shannon, Taunya, Robert, Riley, Payton, Michael, Shawn, Amanda, Alicia, Christina, Samuel, Hannah, Ryan, Bailey and Avery; his siblings, Bill, Jim, Beatrice (Newhouse), Edwin, Albert, Helen and Garry; and his sisters-in-law, Bernice, Ada, Eileen, Betty, Patricia Clancy (Bernard) and Anne Webdale (Robert).
