He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest and Margaret Kettle (Cruickshanks) of Dunsford, ON; his brother-in-law Willis Tolbart (Ella); and also, Thomas Stevens and Martha Stevens (Tolbart) of Geary, N. B.

He is survived by: his wife Vallerie (Stevens); his children, Carolyn Kettle (Marc) of Calgary, AB and Robbie Kettle (Alexandra) of Kingston, ON.; his grandchildren, Keegan MacNeil of North Bay, Darbi MacNeil (Ryan), Alysha Kettle and Tyrrel Kettle; his great grandchild Carter Cambridge; his friends, Blair Gaidies, Vinnie MacNeil and Kim Harkness; and his sisters, Jeanette Monahan (Tom) of Peterborough, ON and Debra (Rob) of Lindsay, ON.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
