Robert Roode Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Roode (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy and Sarah; his brothers, Bill (Nellie), Don (Phyllis) and Art; and his brother-in-law Myles Parrington.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his children, Robynne Sampson (Rob) and Leslie Lingard (Jeff); his grandchildren, Emileigh, Meghan, Michael Sampson, Gillian and Wendy Lingard; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Parrington and Pat Parrington (Myles).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Edmison Heights Bible Chapel (939 Hilliard St, Peterborough, ON K9H5R9).
