He was predeceased by: his parents, Fraser Ripley and Jane Ripley (Jean) of Kitchener. He is survived by: his children, Susan Kinghorn (David) and Kenneth (Becki); his grandchildren, James Kinghorn of Fort Frances, Stephen Kinghorn of Oshawa, Victoria Kinghorn of Oshawa, Nicole Ripley of Cavan and Rebecca Ripley of Auckland; his siblings, Donald Ripley (Linda) and Jane Binkley of Kitchener; his siblings-in-law, Sandy Adamson of Kitchener and Joan Adamson (late David) of St. Catherines; and his daughter Christine Ripley of Cavan.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a Celebration of Life will held at a later date.
