Roger touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Roger’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cole and Bernice Cole; and his sister Barbara Widdis. He is survived by: his children, Susannah Cole (Michael Walsh) and Andrea Cole (Shay Byrne); and the mother of his children Anne Cole (Doxsee). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, coworkers, former students, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre (356 Rubidge St, Peterborough, ON K9H4C7).
Tributes will be shared at 1:30 p.m. In honour of Roger, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by his family.
