He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys; and his sister Thelma Scott. He is survived by: his children, Wendy Jones, Steven Carswell, David Carswell and Anne Carswell; and his grandchildren, Shane Jones (Kim), Brandon Jones (Lindsay), Laura Fynboe (Jay), Nicole Wright (Gary), Scott Carswell (Ola), Curtis Rowden and Janice Carswell.
