She was predeceased by: her parent Cobourg; and her siblings, Elsie, Esther, Mildred, Winnifred, Katie, Jessy, Vera, Cecil, Larry, Fred, Percy and Jim.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Switzer; her son Maurice Switzer; her grandson Adin Switzer (Wendy); her great grandchildren, Olivia Switzer (Ryan Chabassol) and Jacob Switzer (Jordee Matson); and her sibling's children, Jim Marsden, Orma Hogarth, Vera Melanbacher and Marlene Quesnel of Peterborough.
Due to visiting restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Ruby never got to hold her great-great-granddaughter Adeline Margaret-Marie Chabassol, born in January to Olivia and Ryan, but seeing photos brought broad smiles to her face.
