He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Bowers and Helen Bowers; his brothers, George and Henry (Jennifer); and his nephew Aaron Tarnow.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sons, Robert (Julie) and William (Rochelle); his grandchildren, Alex, Josephine and Sammy Bowers; and his siblings, Garry (Carole-anne), Mary Schooff (William) and Beth Bowers. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Highland Chapel. A burial will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the Highland Park Cemetery, Highland Park Chapel (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5).
