He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Kerry O'Leary; his children, Dalton (Kayla), Kyrianne (Jacob) and Jarrett-Thomas; his grandchildren, Emilia and Poppy; his parents, Don O'Leary and Sharon O'Leary; his sisters, Anita (Cam) and Bernadette; his parents-in-law, Harold and Sharon Van Luven; and his siblings-in-law, Edward, Ruth Poley, James and Shelley Pakenham. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre, Bensfort Road (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Terry Fox Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
