It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Ann Cooney (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Michael; her stepbrother Ted; and her sister-in-law Linda. She is survived by: her husband Ronald; her son David; her siblings-in-law, Beverly, Ted, Donald, Bonnie, Vicki and Bob; and her nephews, Bill (Barb), Ron (Suzanne), Tom (Shirley), John, Ribby, Stacey, Bob and Ernie.

Donations made to the Peterborough Humane Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.

“Remembering the many good times we enjoyed with Sharon. This photo was taken New Years Eve 2019 / 2020 at the Navy Club. Group camping was a favorite time and Shaon loved a game of cards or two. Sharon would organize who was going and arrange the sites for us all. Sharon never forgot a birthday or anniversary and Marg and I enjoyed having dinner with Sharon and Ron on their 48th wedding anniversary. Sharon will be missed by all of us. RIP”
