She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry O'Neill and Lillian Rife. She is survived by: her spouse Rev. H. Bain Milroy; her children, Will (Sherri), Patrick (Marcy) and Beth (Donnie); her grandchildren, Courtney (Neill), Matthew (Jenn), Kelsey, Caleb, Connor, Tyler, Kyleigh, Curtis, Meghan and Thomas; her great grandchildren, Aidan, Kai, Mark and Alex; her brother Bill (Brenda); and her sister-in-law Helen (Gordon).

As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made in Sharon's memory to Keene United Church, The Peterborough Regional Health Centre Cancer Clinic, or St. Elizabeth Healthcare.
