He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jean, Elizabeth, Audrey, Esther, Gerry, Shirley, Charlie and Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Stacey and Debbie; his sister Gwen; and his sons-in-law, Paul and Gary (Dorothy). He is also survived by his five grandchildren and spouses, and three beautiful great grandchildren.
Stan was President of The Fenner Foundation, whose mandate was to honour the over 100, 000 Home Children who came to Canada from England…between 1867 and 1930..his Mother was a Barnardo Home Girl. Through the Foundation, Stan was able to have Colonel Sam Strickland inducted into the Peterborough Pathway Hall of Fame and also he had a plaque erected in honour of Sam at Nicholl's Oval Park.
