She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Thomas Hughes; her children, Ceris Higgs (Martin) of Peterborough, Bronwen Jilesen (Bill) of Elgin, Illinois Schlueter and Glynis Schlueter (Dale) of Oshawa; and her siblings, Phyllis Goulding (Gordon) and Ronald Marwood (June). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
