He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Catherine L'Heureux (Cathie); his daughter Erica Batten; his granddaughter Evangeline Batten; and his sisters, Carolyn McIntyre (Pat), Eileen Henderson (late Doug), Diane McLeod (John), Pauline Dewald (Shane) and Barbara Parry.
