He was loved and cherished by many people including: his girlfriend Mila (Yvonne); his sister Mary (Bob); and his parents, Margaret McFarlane and Jim McFarlane.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Nisbett Funeral Home (600 Monaghan Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J5H9). A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In memory of Tom, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in support of pancreatic cancer awareness and prevention would be deeply appreciated by the family.
