She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon; her child Terry; and her sibling Marion Howden (Bert). She is survived by: her children, Doug (Mary), Sharon Iles (late Bruce), Randy, Jeff and Paul; and her siblings, Betty Whitmore, Carol Mullan (late Bill), Brenda Heard (late Gord), Danny Whitmore (Sherry), Doreen Vice (Frank) and Harold Whitmore. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

In memory of Verna, donations to the Diabetes Association, The Kidney Foundation or the PRHC Foundation would be appreciated.
