He was predeceased by: his parents, James O'Brien and Anna Collins; his sons, Glenn and Michael; and his siblings, Jim, Mel, Joe, Frank and Norma Roscoe.
He is survived by: his wife Julie; his children, Carolyn, Darlene, Jolene, Vernon Jr. (Samantha), Jenn (Rick) and Ryan (Carrie); and his siblings, Colleen Kylie (Dolly) and Bob (Ruth). He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In memory of Vern, donations to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
