William Curtis Abbott Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of William Curtis Abbott (Peterborough, Ontario). William, born on May 31, 1937, passed away on October 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Abbott; his parents, Stanley Herbert and Beatrice Abbott; and his brother Ron (Nel). He is survived by: his siblings, Jim (Bea), Doug (late Mary-Ann), Carolyn Abbott (Bunny) and Darlene Doris (late Jim); his daughters, Karen Abbott of Peterborough and Cheryl Wilgus (Andy) of Medicine Hat Alberta; his grandchildren, Matthew and Maegan; his great grandchildren, Addison, Reid, Sawyer, Harper, Drew and Knox; his close friend Carol Perley; and his friends, Sanjay and Ruthie Moher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bill's Home.
