William Allen Douglas Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Allen Douglas (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Grace; his son Allen Douglas; and his siblings, Marion McDougall (late Clarence), John Douglas (late Bev) and Jean Elliott (late Junior).

Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Highland Park Cemetery (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5).

In memory of William and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
