He was predeceased by: his close friend Annette Fairweather; his son Larry Gummer (Chery); his parents, Bruce and Freda; and his siblings, Melford Gummer Jack Gummer (Gladys) and Betty Billen.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Giroux and Steven Gummer (Nancy); and his sister Zella Hall. He is also survived by his Grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
In memory of Owen and in lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
