He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, Bobby "Smiley Jr" Rendell, Sydney Rendell, Randy Rendell and Kelly Campbell (Marc); and his parents, Melbourne Wright and Wilma Wright.

He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his daughter Rebecca Johns (Eric); his siblings, Shirley Challice (late Dave), Donald Wright (Colleen) and Carol Murduff (Jack); and also, Denton "Smiley" and Marion Rendell.

In his memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family.
