He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sylvanus Shantz and Catherine Shantz; his wife Clarene; his sons, Brent and Greg; Rebecca (Beccy), Dave Kennedy, Collette, Michael Warriner, Trevor and Caralyn Shantz. He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wilmot Centre Church (2463 Bleams Rd, Petersburg, ON N0B2H0). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
