He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Horton and Elenor Horton; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Williams and Doug Duncan. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Blaine Horton (Loretta), Angela Kuipers (Doug) and Dale Horton (Tricia); his grandchildren, Victoria, Emily, Leah (Jacob), Calex, Steven (Andrea), Matthew and Elijah; his great grandchildren, William and Adayah; his siblings, Kathy Duncan and Walt Horton (Gail); and his sisters-in-law, Beverly Tennant (George) and Donna Williams.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Inc. (4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia, ON N0N1R0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
