With sadness, we share the passing of Leone Wellington (Petrolia, Ontario). Leone, born on January 11, 1925, passed away on September 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ross Wellington; her parents, Reta Burnley and Jack Burnley; and her siblings, Eddie, Howard, Eileen and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her children, Gerry (Joanne), John and Judy Hanki (Mike); her granddaughters, Julie Wellington and Kendra Dellacherie (Clement); and her great grandchildren, Sophia, Tristan, James and Owen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Inc. (4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia, ON N0N1R0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
