She was predeceased by: her former husband Lorne Joseph Melton; her children, Doug Melton (Mary), Chuck Melton (Cindy) and Patti Boynton (Stuart); her husband Archie Hoven; her stepchildren, George Hoven (Kathy) and Pat Joy (Jim); and her brothers, Howard Capes (Alma) and John Capes (Marg).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brett, Erin, Scott, Mark, Stuart, David and Katie; and her stepgrandchildren, Brian, Mike, Ryan and Travis.
