He was predeceased by : his wife Cheryl; his daughter Ruth Cote; his grandson Justin Cote; and his parents, Jon Taylor and Dolly Bowden.

He is survived by : his children, Debbie Walker (Jim) and C. J. Taylor (Tammy); his son-in-law Pete Cote; his grandchildren, Jonathan Anderson (Andrea), Stephen Anderson (Mercedes Cooper), Joshua Cote, Nikki Cote and Megan Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Nicolai, Brayden, AnaBelle, Brody, Ariana, Brier and Michael.
