She was loved and cherished by many people including: her adoptive parents, Clifton (Rossie Whiting) and Sherri; her husband George Hext of Paul's United Church; her children, Edward (Ted) and Ruth McIlmoyle; her granddaughters, Sandy Gaskin (Jaime), Jennifer Hext, Michelle Xavier (Jason) and Kimberley McIlmoyle; her great grandchildren, Chloe and Molly Xavier; her niece Tracy Steadman; her nephews, Dan, Larry and Rod Hext; her brother Clifford Whiting; her siblings-in-law, Thomas Hext and Elaine Hext; Sherrill Lynn Whiting.
