He was predeceased by : his wife Margaret Jean; his parents, Alfred Hyatt and Ethel Hyatt; and his siblings, Keith, Bob, Bernice, Marion, Elwood "Shorty", Alfred, John and Lois.

He is survived by : his children, Ken Hyatt (Susan), Brenda Belanger (Dave) and Barb Harper (Rick); his grandchildren, Samantha Wilkinson (Will) and Justin Belanger (Natalie); his great grandchildren, Beau, Tye Belanger (MariePier Boivin) and Brianne Fox (Eric); and also, Brody, Kelly Bailey (Greg), Harper, Cooper and Ashley Duncan (Trevor). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and many cousins.
