She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin; her children, Orial Carpenter (late Russell) and Karen Hanses; her grandsons, Ethan Oliver, Dale Hanses and Connor Newport; and her siblings, Dorothy McMahon, Sue Milner, Margaret Belanger, John Beveridge, Jim Beveridge, Myrtle Shepherd, Bill Beveridge, Donna Shand, Charlie Beveridge and Don Beveridge.
She is survived by: her children, Marion Thomson (late Ron), Elaine Newport (Jim) and Randy Oliver (late Darwyn); and her sister Florence Smith. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren.
