She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin; her children, Orial Carpenter (late Russell) and Karen Hanses; her grandsons, Ethan Oliver, Dale Hanses and Connor Newport; and her siblings, Dorothy McMahon, Sue Milner, Margaret Belanger, John Beveridge, Jim Beveridge, Myrtle Shepherd, Bill Beveridge, Donna Shand, Charlie Beveridge and Don Beveridge.
She is survived by: her children, Marion Thomson (late Ron), Elaine Newport (Jim) and Randy Oliver (late Darwyn); and her sister Florence Smith. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and fourteen great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Inc. (4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia, ON N0N1R0). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home (4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia, ON N0N1R0).
