He was predeceased by : his parents, Stewart and Jean; his siblings, Jane and Stewart "Duddy"; and his niece Charlene Young (Casper Baas).

He is survived by : his children, Michelle "Shelly" Bridges of Melvindale, Lori Williams of Silver Springs and Dondra Ergonis of Dearborn, Michigan.; his sister Charlotte Sterritt of Sarnia; his niece Bonnie Baas; his nephew Ronnie Barr; and his grandchildren, Guy, Scott, Jenny, Nathan, Leslie and Katie.
