Yolande Thompson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yolande Thompson (Petrolia, Ontario), born in Témiscaming, Québec, who passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Thompson; her son Mark; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Chambers (Ryan), Brittany Houlihan (Spencer), Jennifer Sitzes (Seth Stafford), Ashley Thompson (John Albert), Brett Thompson (Jamie Lynn), Heather, Caleb, Darius, Adam Thompson, Reed and Roen Douglas.

She is survived by: her children, Kim Sitzes (Dean), Michael Thompson (Bethany) and Nicole Douglas (Mike); her great grandchildren, Cole, Link, Desmond, Ciaran, Halle, Chase, Blake, Harlow and Kollyns; her siblings, Dennis Corbin, Yvon Corbin (Deidre), Aline Corbin and Nicole Chenier (Leonard); and her sister-in-law Arline Heintz. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
