He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick and Agnes; and his siblings, Mary, Lally, Aggie, Ann, James John and Colm.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his daughters, Carmel (Paul) and Jacqueline (James); his grandchildren, Rachael, Johnathan, Norah and Kevin; his great grandchild Kiera; and his brother Paddy (Ute). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax, ON L1T2Z7). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church (1148 Finch Ave, Pickering, ON L1V1J6). A reception will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McEachnie Family Centre (20 Church St N, Ajax, ON L1T2W5).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Lung Association.
