He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Davenport and Lilian Davenport; and his siblings, Joan, Barbara, Peggy "Peg", Hazel and John.

He is survived by: his wife Mavis; his sons, Stephen (Karen) and Paul (Kerry); his grandchildren, Kyle, Taylor, Shane, Amanda and Meagan; and his great grandchildren, Victoria, Zachary, Matthew and Eleanor.
