Canon John D. Whittall Obituary
In loving memory of Canon John D. Whittall (Picton, Ontario), who departed this world on November 13, 2025 at the age of 81. Canon leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Whittall and Ruth Whittall. He is survived by: his children, Lugh of Peru and Richard (Melinda Bruce) of Toronto; the parent of his children Maylanne; his grandchildren, James and Isla; his sister Barbara Schipprack (Roland) of Meaford; and his sibling's children, Karl, Pepe and Kristy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene (477 Manning Ave, Toronto, ON M6G2V8). A requiem service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of St. Mary Magdalene, Toronto.
