He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Quaiff and Mabel; and his siblings, Edra Rose, Stanley Quaiff, Gordon Quaiff and Leola Weese.

He is survived by: his wife Helena; his daughter Marjorie Abbey (late Dave) of Ottawa; and his grandchildren, Cynthia and Christopher.
