He was predeceased by : his parents, Hendrik Brusse and Julianna Brusse. He is survived by : his wife Jeanette McCaw; his former life partner Helen Brusse; his daughters, Tanya Brusse-Gendre (John Gendre) of Calgary and Shari Brusse (Andrew Park) of Ottawa; his stepdaughter Debbie McCartney of Picton; his grandchildren, Cameron, Syrina, Candace, Sean, Alaura and Jackson; his brother Rolf Brusse (Judy) of Oakville; his nieces, Catherine and Kimberly; and his uncles, Peter Brusse of Bussem and Mark Brusse of Paris, France..
